I think so. It looks so incredibly gay. Yet, I know its a strong vehicle and quite safe. My parents are trying to convince me to buy one and I don't know what to do.

It just seems to me that gay people drive that. I am a 22 single female and don't want to get looks.

Thanks.

My perspective was that as long as you're just gonna drive around in your city and not thinking of doing a coast to coast road trip every year then it is by far better to lease a car than to buy one.
Any advise? I'm thinking with the gas prices up, I might as well lease a Hybrid and save some money. THis way no maintenance AND less gas fees.

I am looking for a new car (coupe or sedan) and fuel economy and safety are the biggest decision factors for me. Any suggestions for a great car that combines the two exceptionally well?

I have a 2000 dodge durango 4x4 and I still owe 14,000 on it. It is eating up all my income and i simply cannot afford it. I also am now supporting my mom and a home mortgage (hers) since she can no longer work. I need a really economical car with good mileage. Im thinking of trading in my durango in for something around 9-10,000 dollars and just letting them add on the less value of the durango. That way I'll still have the same balance but my payments will be less and I will save on gas and maintnace. What do you think. Any better Ideas?

I even talked to one lady (the seller).. she wanted me to pay money to yahoo! autos finance dept through western union.. once the money is in yahoo autos, the lady will ship the car.. and let me test drive it for 7 days.. if i like it, i can tell yahoo! autos to process and pay her my money. i even can reject the car and get my money back.

We have a 2004 Honda Pilot EX-L 4WD with RES (DVD) and a dealer-installed 6 CD changer and trailer hitch. It was in an accident and has been repaired. The repairs were well done at a reputable, insurance company-guaranteed shop. It is clean, well kept and has had all of it's factory recommended maintainance performed. How much lower than KBB or edmunds do I need to set the price of this vehicle to sell?

Btw, we've decided to sell for a few reasons. We got a great deal on a 2006 vehicle - and this new vehicle is far easier for my in-laws to access (trust me helping my chubby MIL climb in to the Pilot every week was not fun!). Buying the new vehicle put my kids into a safe large vehicle right away instead of spending the next month or so squeezing into rental cars

Thanks for your input!

when it comes to financing a vehicle, does the bank/institution determine how long the loan will be? 36, 48, 60, 72 months? im looking at an 05 and i dont want to be put in the 36 months bracket as my payments are expected to be too high. the car is 11995 but we want to get it down to 10500 or a lil lower. i want to have some say in the finance negotiations.

I recently came into posession of a 58 Mercedes - Benz 220S. It is in perfect condition and has low miles. I dont need it. Now I don't know too much about these types of older cars so I'm not sure if there is a market for this car and if so what is its value and how do I go about selling it. Any help would be much appreciated. Joe

He wants to buy a car ($2000 - 3000), his first. He is in Army Reserve for last year. Also works full time for Stater Brothers Markets in CA for about 6 months - promoted twice. He also has worked parttime for Youth Opportunity Center after school for about 3 years. Graduated last year. Has no credit. He asked me to ask all of you if you have had experience est. credit and then going about buying a car. He prefers to buy from dealer as financing may have to come from them. He is learing how to save money but "it's so hard." Any suggestions there would be helpful from you teen and 20+ people. Thanks.
