I just purchased an 05' Altima with 6,000 miles on it
CarFax report came back clean, price was great...Just wanted to know what problems you've had with yours???...I've read that the transmission slips from first to second, and the stock tires stink

I purchased an '03 brand new and drove 68,000 miles. Traded it a year ago and the ONLY thing I ever paid for was having the battery cleaned at a cost of $20. The stock tires lasted over 50,000 miles.
It was an awesome car and I see no downside to buying one.

I don't know about the 05 once but I heard people say that on their 03 and 04 transmission want out around 50,000 miles.

i have a 06 maxima, trans stutters first to second if you take your foot off. milage is great 3.5 l 20 city 33 highway with air on in cruise
