NO!

There is no Yahoo Finance department (except in their corporate offices - it's not a consumer service).

They partner with Capital One and Chase. I recommend using Capital One because they'll approve you quickly, have good rates, and will send a check you can give the dealer or seller.

No! This is a SCAM!

Let me guess. The seller is in Europe somewhere. UK or Italy maybe? And they're selling a really nice American car for cheap because their brother or child died and it just hurts too much to look at it. And they're going to ship it to you and you're going to get it in 8 or 9 days. Right? WRONG!

Ocean freight takes 4 - 8 weeks. I've shipped cars from Europe several times so I know this from experience. If you call them on that, they'll tell you it's being shipped by air. Problem is that air shipment of a car would be well over $30,000.00 so unless you're buying a million dollar Bugati Royale from Southeby's that isn't going to happen!

Lastly, they want you to send the money via Western Union, right? Well, if you do, you'll never see your money again. Of course, you'll never see the car either!

They might give you a name and address in the UK, but anyone with a phony ID with that name on it who knows the amount of money being sent can collect it anywhere in the world. Often that will be Russia or the Ivory Coast but it really doesn't matter because once it's paid out there is NO way to trace the money or get it back!
