Personally, I think I'd go with a new boat. Motorcycles are a lot of fun (my brother and I built mini-choppers over the winter for camping and such), but there are some factors that you can't have with a motorcycle. One factor is sharing the experience with friends. You and your husband can do a little day run with friends or relatives much easier than you can on a motorcycle. Plus, there's a little romance factor that you can have with a boat. I live on the shores of Lake Superior, and my buddy took his dad's boat out to the harbor to watch the fireworks with his girlfriend. He popped the question to her that night, and the moment was so cool with the fireworks going and her saying yes. As a matter of fact, he chose me to be his best man, which is pretty cool.

All in all, it is a tough call to make, but I think that a new boat would be a lot more fun.

BOAT
100% safer
people do NOT see motorcycles
every rider will eventually get cremed by someone who did not even look for a motorcycle
bike are fun, but other drivers have made them too dangerous

I'm a bit of a traditionalist, I'd get a Harley softtail. I just don't want my backside getting beaten up on a hardtail(the real traditional).
