I've found a car I'm really interested in purchasing once I turn 18 in mid-September. I'm going to be moving out on my own and will need my own vehicle. I have a steady income, I'm just wondering what's the best way to go about paying for the used vehicle. Should I lease it, or get a loan, and which method would be cheaper? The type of vehicle I'm looking at is anywhere from 11,800-14,000. I'd appreciate the help.

I'm looking for a way to determine a base value, similar to a kelly blue book, for classic volkswagons. I am mostly looking at the VW Beetles from the 60's. Is there a resource similar to the blue book to help me out?

Dealer overnighted paperwork to sign. Called dealer and said that from everything I am signing it looks like I can't back out of it if there is something wrong with the car (again, I have not seen it) or change my mind. Dealer states TN law is such that if I don't take possession (drive it out of the lot?) of the car (even though I'm signing a contract to buy the car) I can still back out.
Paperwork to sign has to do with them financing me. And a bunch of typical disclosure-type forms, ie no promises made, etc.

Is this true? What I'm afraid of is after signing, I fly there, I don't like the car, but I'm stuck with it.

I am in the market to buy a new car. I have an SUV now and I want to stick to an SUV because I like being up off the ground. I have a Toyota Rav4 now but it has too many miles now. Any suggestions. Does Mercedez have a small SUV. I dont want a big SUV. Somthing small will do fine. I would like to have a luxury car, but somthing that is still affordable. Nothing over 33,000.
