My dad is a paint repair technition for car dealerships. HIs slowest months are from Nov. to about February. Peaple are out of money by then, and not thinking of purchasing a car. You can get a good deal at this time of year because salesmen are chomping at the bit to get a customer.

Probably mid to later in the year, when the new models come out so you don't feel like an idiot for buying too soon. If you want a new model at least, if you're fine with the curent model, then it'd be a benefit for you because they'd want to start liquidating their old stock and they'd drop the prices.

Also, it's good to go car shopping on a rainy day. There's less customers and the salesman are going to break their backs to try to make any kind of sale rather than no sale at all that day.

A few times are usually good the end of a month is always a good time they are trying to make there sales numbers, Presidents Day sales are always good, When the new models come in and they are trying to get the old ones out and if you live in a bad weather state the month after you have the worst weather because people dont go out as much and they need to make up from poor sales

I know that the end of the month is good because they have to meet their quotas. Also, getting a car as the new year comes out is good. Like getting an 06 now so they have room for the 07's.

if your looking for the best deal wait till winter or till it`s raining most car dealers will give you a better deal at these times because they are uncomfortable to the salesman as well as the buyer
