Just like any other vehicle ,the depends are you talking Class -1 License vehicle 18 wheeler? or just a vehicle with commercial plates ? same as you would any other car or truck but you pay more

you don't 'buy' a commercial vehicle... you buy a truck, car that is fit for the job, and register/license it for the duty!

Plus, you really need the parking/loading zone permits to avoid the fines for 'standing in a fire lane' when you are actually picking up/loading/ dropping off!

Like, I can buy a cabover Peterbilt, but, she don't go on the road until I lay down $14,500 in taxes, fees, permits, licenses, inspections, tags, in every state and some counties, that I traverse!
