Buying & Selling - July 2006

So my Subaru was stolen March of 05. I felt really sad and mad about this, obviously. So, when insurance settled, I bought another car. Here's the mistake: I decided that since I had never owned a new car and had just gotten screwed over by having my car stolen, this was the time to get what I really wanted- a new black 4Runner. Yeah, environmentally irresponsible, but I had waited a long time for that vehicle. So, soon after that, gas went thru the roof. Now I also want a smaller monthly payment due to other circumstances. Is there any way to unload this truck? I have taken VERY good care of it and it still smells new inside. Of course Toyota (where I bought it) wants nothing to do with it.

I am thinking of buying a 2006 Saturn Vue, and I just want to know what people think of this Veh or Saturn in general?? I just wanna make sure a Saturn is the right chose for me. I have a VW Bug now and I love it cuz it's my first car and I love the look, but it has become the bigest piece of crap, and is notheing but problems.

I have a big problem I hope somebody can help me, about a month ago the the finance company took my can because I was late with my payment for a week, also because they never received the proof of my insurance that I gave to the dealer and they where supposed to send it, I don't think they where supposed to take the car because my other payments where always on time and there was that confusion with the insurance, now they said that if I want to get it back I have to pay for the repossesion and they payments that I haven't made, what can I do?

I had not even 30k miles when all this started to happen. I traded in my Mitsubishi Eclipse turbo for this car because I thought I was making a better choice by switching to a Honda. But I never had not one problem with my Eclipse and sold it in perfect condition at 150k miles. Now I want to get rid of the Honda, my balance is $13,300 and they don't want to give me more than $13k for it.

Need some advice on what are my options.

I want to buy a new car, somewhere between 12,000 and 18,000 dollars, that is sporty, nice, and gets good gas mileage. I travel close to 400 miles a week between work and school and my hobbies so the car is going to be well used. Anyone know of any that fits all the categories?

I would like to sell my car before the lease is up. I check all the bigger car sites, Cars.com, autotrader.com, etc.. My year car with similar mileage all seem to be selling for more than the buyout. So I figure I can sell to get out of my lease right? The lease company has the title though, so how should I sell? Can I just list it and provide only a bill of sale until I send the money to the lease company for the title?

I do not want to buy it with my money, then sell it.

There is no Sales Tax in Oregon, potentially i can save $5000 to $6000 by not paying the sales tax. I even have a friend who i can put down as the local resident address in Oregon. However, my home is in San Francisco.
