If you do not want to piece it yourself, just advertise it 'as is', describe it best you can, and you will find someone who is looking for what you have. I find that if you are willing to get your elbows dirty and part it yourself, you make more money.

Advertise the car as for sale as a project car or parts car. It doesn't matter what the next owner does with the car as long as you have a signed release of liability in your possession. By selling it this way, you are not implying anything about the car as far as condition of any of the components. On the bill of sale just note that the sale is "as is where is". This removes you from any liability for transporting the car and any defects the car may have.

Ive personally had a good experience selilng things on bargain trader. You can go to www.bargaintrader.com and advertise your vehicle exactly how it is and that it is only good for parts. As a matter of fact I recently sold a Chevy S10 engine and extremely fast. In addition to this there is an option that you can advertise your ad untill it sells. Check this webpage out, maybe it will help you out.

Classifieds online and in local papers, make sure the party buying knows that your vehicle is "as is" and get them to sign a paper stating so. I guess you can as a last resort but ebay is full of cheapskates looking for bargins, so you will most likely end up getting less than what its worth. Good luck!
