I'm tempted by:
Porsche Cayman S/ Boxter S
Porsche 911 (nearly new)
TVR Sagiris
Marcos TSO
BMW M3 CSL (Maybe wait for the new M3)
BMW Z4M Coupe or Convertible
Used BMW Z8.

Tried the Boxter and Z4M, any others I should consider?

I asked a question a while ago and I need more answers. I was shopping for a family car when I came across a 2002 Ford Explorer with 31,000 miles on it for $10,995. 3 year warranty, sponsered dealership. GOOD DEAL? From the pictures it appears to be in excellent condition, but it sounds too good to be true to me... HELP?!?!

In the order of importance, the fuel mileage is first, then purchase price. The rest is in any order. We are about to purchase a new vehicle and we want one that will last and yet, is comfortable, reliable and cost effective to operate.

Ok I have been shopping for a new family car, I wanted to go with a ford explorer sport trac, but the safety reviews SUCK! Anyhow while I was shopping I found a 2002 FORD EXPLORER for 10,995 and it has 31,000 miles on it. Is it just me or is this ONE HELL OF A DEAL??? Interior and exterior looks to be in excellent condition. I am hesitant because it seems awfully cheap.......WHat do you think?

Not to refurbish, just a beater. People around here want 2000-3000. that seems very high.

2002 Malibu SE - its in great condition except for one very small scratch on the back bumper, and it has very high mileage. 108k. It used to be a temp car for a car dealership, and they took very good care of it, just got a lot of road time.
KBB, and autotrader have some pretty varied prices 3.5k - almost 10k.

What would YOU buy it for?
I live in Dallas BTW

I want a vehicle that would be able to make the transition to fuels with more ethanol on them very easily. It should be small, and potentially a hybrid.
