I asked a question a while ago and I need more answers. I was shopping for a family car when I came across a 2002 Ford Explorer with 31,000 miles on it for $10,995. 3 year warranty, sponsered dealership. GOOD DEAL? From the pictures it appears to be in excellent condition, but it sounds too good to be true to me... HELP?!?!

It wasn't my first choice but it is one of the safest. I wanted a Sport Trac but it isn't safe. As far as the gas??? I know but I need something bigger, I don't want a car, and we are expecting our second child.

Get the VIN Number, find out the history of the car Carfacts or carfax.com. could have been in an accident with a bent frame, erosion, rust, crack in the block, water damage................... you never know. see if you can get your machanic to go look at it or a neighbor that knows a thing or two about cars. hell, you in jersey, I'll go with you.

do you have a ford mustang or truck. and became into it your husbands fault? a ford mustang isn't secure conversing from very own adventure. for some reason ford did no longer lead them to good adequate. I hit a ford explorer on the rear door area at 30 mph and the explorer slightly have been given a dent. on the different hand my mustang have been given all screwed up from the hood and precise fender. Mustangs seem cool they're basically no longer secure.

Ask the dealer if you can take it to a mechanic for a second opinion,. Spending $100 or so now could save you huge troubles down the line.
