What is practicle for one person is not practical to another. A lot would depend on you...are you physically capable of putting a child in a rear seat without a rear door. A lot would depend on the car itself...some two door cars are have a lot better access to the rear seat than others. If this is not enough to help you decide then just take your child seat and see how much trouble it is to place it in the car. You could even take the child and see how much trouble it is to place the child in the seat.

I personally do not believe it is practical. It will be such a headache trying to get the child into the seat & removing the child from the seat. (provided that is the primary vehicle that the child travels in) Then you have to consider how will you keep the child entertained while driving. With a 4 door car you have a little bit more room to hang the childs toys at the back of your passenger side seat(s). With a 4 door car it's just easier to open a seperate door to remove the child rather than the 2 door car you would have to open your door, then flip the seat back & kneel on the slided seat & then reach for the child

No. Like someone said, it'll tempt you to allow the child to ride up front. Most 4 door cars aren't too expensive when bought used or certified pre-owned. I had a 1982 Honda Prelude for almost 2 years of my son's life. I DESPISED flipping up the passenger seat to get him in & out. Let alone taking out the carseat to go in my mom's car or a friend's. I'm glad I have a 4 door Accord now.

Not practical. Getting a car seat in and out is enough of a pain in the rear, nevermind trying to do it while holding the seat up. Plus, in a short time the child will be bigger and taller, meaning their legs will more easily be able to kick the back of the front seats while you're driving.

No, it will get really bothersome having to deal with trying to get in the backseat. Childlocks are available in 4-door cars if you are worried your child will open the door while you are driving.

No...you will go crazy trying to access the backseat. It will probably tempt you to put the child in the front which is dangerous.
