Toyotas are the BEST cars! They run forever. My 1st car was a Toyota Celica. It had been passed down through the family. That thing lasted forever. ( It's still probably running.)

We had a Toyota once (but not Celica) and I can tell you this....we ended up at finally about 200,000 miles and that car was never ever in the shop. It was finally dying in the end. After we had it for about 4 years, the ignition went out. I was in the middle of the highway. Tow truck came - took car to dealership. Dealership fixed it at NO CHARGE. I would definitely go Toyota if I ever have a chance to buy another vehicle. NO DOUBT.

I currently own a 2nd generation Toyota celica(1990 - 1993) and love it. there is 125,000 mile on it but it should last me another 100k miles. they r fun and reliable cars. If ur a car enthusiast then u will appreciate the ton of aftermarket parts available - epically for the newer 2000 & up models!

go fo it...I had a celica for 12 years and it ran great. I put over...and this is true... 298 THOUSAND miles on it and the only thing I had to replace was the tranny (transmission). The engine was still the original when I sold it. Toyotas are awesome dude.

You will always find some who like it and some who don't. Unless you buy it new the car will only be as good as how the previous owner took care of it. If you are buying new a good place to start would be the reliability reports in Consumer Reports.
