The Caravan has acceptable gas mileage. It can carry up to 7 people. It is adaptable, with the rear seats being removable, or in the case of the new models, fold down into the floor.

Depending on the engine, the acceleration is more than adequate. It is an easy vehicle to drive, and sits high enough that you can see well. Driver visibility is good with no pillars causing major blind spots.

If properly maintained, (correct fluids) the van will last a long time.

I would recommend the 3.3L or 3.8L engine, they have fewer problems than the 3.0 and the 4 cylinder is underpowered on hills or with a full load.
