That is a matter of opinion so here is my opinion. I would have to say the best vehicle to modify would be a Jeep Wrangler. There is an endless amount of aftermarket parts available to make it however you want it and even if you do nothing to it, Its cool. Everyone likes driving with the top down and doors off. They have a timeless sense of style that is all their own too. After you but a Jeep it seems that you are never alone and almost like you have friends everywhere. For example if you stop for gas and someone there has a jeep you will probably end up talking to them. People with Jeeps are fun loving people for the most part and don't mind sharing trail stories with you.
Have you ever heard the saying .. It's a Jeep thing you wouldn't understand. ? Well that's where it came from. Also if you get one make sure to wave at anyone else driving a Wrangler. If you don't it is considered rude. You don't have to wave at Cherokee's and the like because they are not REAL Jeeps. If you want to wave at them though you can. I always did because it is funny to see how eager they are to wave back. They want to be a part of it but bought the wrong vehicle. Hope I have been helpful.

I have seen neons break 12 seconds in the 1/4 mile. The 2.5l engine is from a jeep, and is made of 75ksi iron, compared with normal 27ksi aluminum used in most cars. The strongest aluminum used in the world has 80ksi of strength, so iron and steel blocks are the best. For less than $5000 you can get one to break 14 second pretty easily. Need to find a good body kit, neons look like crap.

Mos Def a Camero. modded one out for racing...750 HP BABY! Racing slicks, fuel injection supercharged, the works...awesome.

Those things are rock solid. Nice looking too, if you like the old stuff.

But if your looking for a ghetto stomper, go with the Scions, they are pretty easy to mod out.

Never do it in Singapore because after 2 years your car is subject for annual inspection for road worthiness. You can spent a bomb of money to do modification of the car but comes the inspection you have to spent money to fix it back to it original. For your information.
