I have a 1983 Honda Civic and the turn signals dont work when I turn them on. The lights work for when I put on my flashers but the turn signals don't. Does anyone have any ideas? Could it be a turn signal relay switch or something? Thanks

My 61 impala bubbletop has been sitting in my garage for roughly 10-12 years without being started. I'm about to pull her out and get her back to driving condition. What steps should I take before I start her up again?

But after about one in half hour into your run the a/c starts blowing hot air.I must have drove 122 miles,i got to my terminal and i shut the truck off.It was hot, very hot on 6-27-07 in roanoke va.I waited about 30 to40 minutes and a/c felt better,it also rained during this time. After one hour or so it seemed to work fine.My company doesn't believe this can happen,i need some professional feed back. They think i made this up.Thanks Donnie Fontaine Sr.

I doubt I will buy an American car for different reasons, like poor quality and too much of my money would go to the wealthy top dogs.

I am considering Japanese, but are there any others that might be worth it? German maybe?

Here is additional info about preferences of mine if you want them:
1. A car that costs less than about $20k to $25k.
2. Roll down windows (they work well for a long time and are less expensive to repair).
3. A car that is inexpensive to maintain.
4. A four door car with adequate head room (more height for the rear passengers than average).
hard to avoid so maybe ignore -- 5. A car that gives at least pretty good gasoline mileage.
6. A stick shift vehicle.
7. Anti-lock brakes and cruise control.
8. A car that is easier to work on than average (not as cramped for space under the hood).
9. A car that is a little more elevated than average (because for example it might be a little better at traveling over snow).
10. An option of four wheel drive.

I've heard some horry stories and I know that the bike will be insured but I don't want to go through that. If anyone has transported their bike please let me know how your expirence went. I am looking for something affordable and reliable. Thanks

Thank you for your time. I have a 2001 plymouth Neon. My neon has 72,300 miles on it and its been a good car so far. It was inspected at 30,000 miles. The only big repairs I had outside of tires, oil changes/brakes is I had the radio replaced and some electrical work in regards to my turn signals and I just had my thermostat replaced yesterday.
My question is what kind of repair trends do you see in this model between 73,000 miles and 90,000 miles? I want to be prepared on what to expect and look for. I plan to get rid of my car in a year, by that time i suspect it will have 85,000 miles on it by then and I am hoping the car will be worry free by then.

Hi, I took my car to have the transmission oil change. Before the color of the transmission fluid was a light brown. Now after being changed, it has the same color. I really thought I was going to see a big difference in colors. What happened? Am I missing something? What kind of red should the oil be? If is new shouldn't it be red? My is brown. My car is a Hyundai Elantra gt 2003.. if that has anything to do with it. Anyway, hope someone can help me. Thanks
