Tips on how to drive a manual im really worried about stalling at a light. Does it get easier with practice?

When on a hill, let the clutch out part way, while you give it a little gas to keep from rolling backwards.
If you give it a little gas, with other foot on brake at lights, you shouldn't stall.
Pump brakes slowly when driving on ice. Don't do a hard brake--or you will skid and go out of control.

Yes I agree with Nikki. You just need practice and a little instruction from someone experienced. It will feel like second nature before you know it. I miss my manual trans a lot

Yep, it gets easier. Just balance the clutch and the gas and you'll get the hang of it. Practice in an empty parking lot with someone that knows how to drive it. Just make sure you don't keep your foot on the clutch WHILE you drive, you could burn it out!

Sign up for a couple of lessons to get the basics, and practice. Find a quiet parking lot and go there after hours and practice. It becomes easy after a while.

my 1st car was a manual as well, and i didnt know how to drive a car too. but once i paid for it it all came in naturaly ;) not hard just go with the flow and dont hit any one will learn in 2 hours.

In the course of your life---you will encounter many things that are not familiar to you. therefore you will need to get educated on things which you KNOW you must deal with.

that was my first car my grandpa got me i lived on the south end of toledo he lived in the east side he gave me the keys and told me to drive home and it took me awhile but i got it and am greatful.
