I have a 2005 Nissan Altima 3.5 and since it's purchase have been intermittently been smelling antifreeze under the hood. I notice no leaks. reently I added headers and they had to remove the radiator. The smell in constant now, what could it be?

In your question you did not say if you had to top up the
coolant,but a simple test is to have the coolant system
pressurised. And if it has a leak you should see it.
Most garages should have a pressure tester.

You added headers and removed the radiator?!?!? Do you mean the heater core? It could be a small leak hittng something hot. It turns to steam and you can smell it.

most radiators now days are made of plastic and aluminum the plastic tanks have a rubber seal and could leak when cold after the engine warms up the seals will swell and you wont find any leaks, if your car has over 100,000 miles replace the radiator

You should have the cooling system pressure checked to find the leak at any repair shop....

Maybe you have a coolant leak??
