Hubby just bought a BIG motorcycle! He's totally inexperienced, but is determined to ride it long distance this weekend. How hard is it to learn?

How dangerous is it to drive on interstate for 4 hours?

Am I being paranoid???

(I think I already know the answer to that one...........)

Someone had told me something about it being against the law to be in the passing or overtaking lane on the highway and not actually passing (they are driving as slow or slower than the other lane). Why do these people never get caught? Is this an actual law? This morning, the lady in front of me was doing the same as the guy next to her - There were 5 cars behind her and she was driving about 64 in a 65. Can I just run into her a couple of times? That would make me feel better at least.

I'm looking at buying a ford escape with 164,000 miles one it. I was wondering if anyone knows how long these things run or what I should be looking out for. The car has been owned by one person who was a salesman so they are mostly highway miles. But I am still a bit skeptical.

The idea is colder air is denser > More O2 > More power. That will obviously make more emissions, but does it hurt your MPG?
Warm air intakes do the opposite to "improve fuel efficiency" according to wikipedia.
Anyone got data?

Seems like changing some pipes wouldnt really do anything? I have an 02 S2000, and I purchased DC sports 4-2-1 Ceramic 1 piece header, a Berk Technology Delete pipe, and Skunk2 cat back dual exhaust, and really its just very loud. Im not really feeling Power gain.. I paid about $1,100 for all this, really I dont feel anything, it just sounds like an Indy car or somethin.

I have read that while lots of carb's look cool that a single 4-BBL is all i really need

I want to put 3-2bbl 's on my 427 but should I just keep the single 4 bbl it already has? I understand that the draw from the cam limits the amount of air pulled into the motor... so 800CFM is 800 CFM...? right? If the motor can only pull this amount then what is the point of adding more carbs?.... and no I'm not changing the cam... I want to be able to drive the car on the street

I've had both front wheel bearing replaced, a bushing put in where the axle meets the tranny to tighten the axle. Now I've still got a rattle especially when on a bumpy road. It sounds like something is loose and rattling around. Also a "popping" noise on straight, flat blacktop when the car is cold in the mornings. A few pops at a time.... Any ideas???

I am thinking about buying a new car and I want to know which one has better handling; a front wheel drive car or a wlll wheel drive car. I was thinking about buy a rear wheel drive car but I wasn't sure if that was the best choice. I was going to buy 2003 Audi A4 or a 2007 Scion TC. I don't know which one I should get. They are both around the same price only that the scion is brand new. Any suggestions?

My ex-wife owes me $158.73 that I paid for her to go to hair-dressing school in Orlando. Now she's staying out in Ocala with her cousin and nephews. So I drive down there and see her car at the beautyshop where she works and I put up besides her car, get out, pop the pins on her driver's side door and take her door with me as collatteral. Now where the heck can I sell a door for a 1985 Camaro for $158.73?? I'm sick of driving around with the dang thing. Please help if you know of a junkyard in the Orlando area.

my 1996 ford ranger is making a very loud noise every so often. The noise only seems to happen when I am not pushing the gas. It is very loud, I can hear it inside the car and outside. It is obviously coming from the front of the truck. I recently had the truck taken to a mechanic for a diffrent issue, and they did not say anything about a noise when they were running a diagnostics of the car. I think this may be because the truck doesnt make the noise when the gas is being pressed. If anyone has any idea about what this noise may be, or a possible fix for the problem is please help me out.

Another Question:

The belt behind the fan in the engine is also very whiney. If I spray it with belt dressing it seems to stop whining for a while but does start up again. Is there any other way to correct this?

Thanks for your help.

I have an 05 Chevy Aveo auto transmission. I have had problems with it shifting. It takes like 3 miles before it shifts to overdrive. I took it to have it service and they can't find any problems. I also have been getting bad gas milage like 24 or so to a gallon. Wanted to know if any one else has had this problem.
