that is called rake of the truck. went you put a load in the bed or pull put a trailer on the back of the truck. it will sit level going down the road. if the truck was level from the start. when you put a load in the back or a trailer on the rear. front of the truck will be to high and it will take some of the weigh of the steering axle making a the front end feel loose going down the road and brakes will not work that well do to the fact of the front wheels do not have good contact with road.

the springs are shorter you can adjust them to what you choose plus you can do the same with shocks ......and if your not going to hauling anything heavy in the back it is better to level the truck out

have you checked the shocks and struts and it also depends on the size of the motor verse the size of the truck
