I am thinking about buying a new car and I want to know which one has better handling; a front wheel drive car or a wlll wheel drive car. I was thinking about buy a rear wheel drive car but I wasn't sure if that was the best choice. I was going to buy 2003 Audi A4 or a 2007 Scion TC. I don't know which one I should get. They are both around the same price only that the scion is brand new. Any suggestions?

The real question is how do you drive a car? Do you push the performance levels or do you commute to the grocery store and to work? If you just want to get from A to Z then a Front Wheel Drive car is fine. If you want to chase the wind through the canyons then I'd get All Wheel Drive as it is hard to upset the handling of AWD and you have greater grip with all four wheels. If you want to drive like a stunt car driver and slide the rear end out and look like a movie hero then Rear Wheel Drive is for you. In the hands of a pro racer the RWD will usually be the fastest.

There is a huge difference in quality here, you are comparing an Audi to a Scion, no comparison, the Audi fars exceeds the Scion in holding their value. All wheel drive have better handling, but are you going to be racing or just regular day to day driving? Take the Audi.

Well, Im sure the correct answer is All wheel drive, However, there are vehicles out there that are tuned well for a front wheel drive car. For example, any of the Genuine Honda Type R series (integra, civic) are well tuned, and can be a good handeling vehicle. I prefer rear wheel drive of course! =)

I would go w/ the Audi.

go for the Audi
all wheel drive has better traction...
and it is very difficult to upset the balance of the car and hence it is safer too..
