I was at my job and my vehicle was parked in front of the property where I was working. A city sweeper hit the back of my vehicle. They told me to call their offices and I was asked for my insurance company. Why should I have to involve my insurance company if this was quite obviously their fault?

I got a quote for $802.00-I cannot afford that. It's either gas or AC, I can't do both.

04 ford expedition EB. the charging system failure came on three days ago. I changed the battery, still happening. I had the alternator changed, still happening. The mechanic says that it may be the voltage regulator or maybe the wiring harness.It's causing the battery to not be recharged. Please help!!

I lock the steerling when I park my bike everyday. I just went to go grab some lunch and I could not unlock my steering. Anyone have anysuggestion on how to unlock it. I will be stuck at work if I cant get it unlocked.

Engines can be so musical.

V-twins give a heartbeat-like 'blat', V6s and V12 can give a lovely howl and V8s have a really evocative rumble. Why do straight-four-cylinder motors, with or without loud exhausts sound so tuneless? I acknowledge that the flat-fours as used by VW and Subaru have a pleasant 'drumbeat'!

I can only think of the 1960's/70's Alfa twinsparks as straight-fours that sounded any good, with a crackly, hard-edged rasp to them. Were there any others? All modern fours sound so bland - it's just noise.

What do you think?

it was in a front end accident. but the seller specialises and refurbished cars. the accident didn't touch the front anxel only minor body damage. which will be completly repaired before I get it. The interior is in perfect condition and it has less than 50,000 milies on it. It is power everything and the seller gauretees it will pass inspection when he is done.

my husband said a long time ago this happend to him; his company droped him after 3 accidents even though 2 were not his fault. Now this is happing to my dad his company is dropping him because of 3 accidents and none of which were his fault. can these company's do this? do they have to follow any laws? is there a way to get them to change their minds?
my father is worried about getting dropped because he also has a insurance pollicy on his busness which he can't lose. and he is also worried he will have a hard time finding a new company willing to insure him.

98 mazda protege. the two large brake lights on the trunk dont come on,the small one inside the car still works. checked bulbs. guess it cant be the fuse since the small one is still working.
