I would like the faceplate to show what song is playing as well as who is singing it... Thanks for the help!

I have a alpine stereo and it plays mp3s cds cd/rw and the ipod but it dosent show on the face. but you can brows through the ipod through the stereo, any thing you can do on the ipod menus you can see through the face

this site will give you an ipod just for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you're broke but really want an ipod (like me).
