i am thinking of buying a cat c right off doesn't need much work to get mechanicaly sound but not sure on the paperwork and what if any other tests it may have to go through before it will be legal again please help???

I have a 1988 Toyota Corolla, with a brand new re-built engine, new tires (with warranty), new engine coil, new distributor cap, new clutch, & new brakes. But it leaks. The seals are bad. I just bought a new 2007 Hyundai, and want this one gone. So I have no idea what to sell it for. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I have a coustik 320QE amp installed in my car. All worked fine until yesterday, my subs were not working and the amp was in protection mode.(Red LED light.) I tinkered with it and read the manual and found out that one of the speaker wires was loose from the terminal. I retightened it and all was well. Turned the car off and went to bed. I got in the car this morning and they were not working again. Checked the amp and it was in protection mode, so I jiggled the speaker wire and it cut right in. Why is everything okay until I turn my car off and then the amp goes into "protection" mode again? Thanks I have double and triple checked all the wires and fuses and I can't find anything else that could be a problem.

How can I obtain a parking permit for a specific parking space in my residential neigborhood. Not a permit where its a four hour or 2 hour limited parking, just regular parking.

I've put 2 camshaft and crankshaft sensors on it and they are gone again?Within 2 years! This is getting expensive at $800 a pop. mechanic at chrystler dealer cant figure it out.

The vehicle is a '95 Suzuki Sidekick w/80K and power steering. It takes an effort I'd call a bit much to turn the wheel away from center when on pavement, in 2WD. It's not a hard effort but no other Sidekick I've owned, both 2 & 4WD has done it. It wants to quickly re-center itself when turned away from center and is a big nuisance. I've owned the vehicle since 63K and it's always done this. I rigorously maintain it, even with synthetic power steering fluid. Any suggestions?

Just suped up my 98 Geo Metro. Got supercharger, spoiler to push the back of my car to the pavement during high acceleration conditions (which will be often), carbon fiber hood to lighten the load, and huge exhaust to allow my exhaust to flow more freely increasing my HP yet again. Cost me about 10 grand but it's going to be priceless when I look at you above my sunglasses, smile with my frosted tips and earring, and give you the middle finger as you eat my dust. wants me to do . but yesterday i think that i dont know was he trying to tell me to forget learning to drive a tractor trailer or what . i had this kid 20 years old as my helper he has been a helper for a year or more. he gets out to guide me in to a spot and his signals are so different then what i ever say . all i want is him to point left make the rear of the trailer go left or right or straight or stop. but he keeps yelling and pointing which way to turn the wheels which really messes me up . i dont need that i know how to do that . i tell him but he carries on doing it . at one point he says get out i will drive . i backed the truck up to the spot fine . but i am sure he will tell the boss i was all messed up. i got back to yard . small yard have to back off road. i did that two small pull aheads and 2 x wait for traffic to pass. then its off the road in the yard i see no problem but the boss says ok i will do this now why did he do that did the kid talk to him on the radio phone

I recently bought a 2001 VW Jetta that needs some detailing work, first does anyone have a suggestion to clean the seat belts, they are tan and look kinda dirty also the clear lens headlights are kind of shadowy, it's not condensation but more like scratches or something is there a fix for this I'd like to get them shiny and clear again.

I am rebuilding a 1970 Type I Volkswagen Beetle engine. When I took the engine apart there was only one air deflector on the right side of the engine underneath the cylinders and above the push rod tubes.

Should there also be one on the other side of the engine?

I have topped the oil up, and the car drives fine, it has done it for a week or so now so obviousley i thaught oil needed topping up, so ive topped it up and drove it 100 miles or so for it to get round the engine but it still cones on below 1000 revs, can you help?

i have a fleet of vehicle on the road at the moment and would like to fit trackers into them but i dont want the drivers to know that they are there. i have 3 drivers that i know are on the fiddle but as yet i cant prove it. i need some sort of evidence so i can get rid of them. i know this sounds underhand but they are going to get the other drivers into trouble and dont want to cause bad feeling in the workforce.

I commute about 30-45 minutes up Hwy 50, from Sacramento, CA to Folsom, CA every day.

This morning I witnessed yet again someone driving very dangerously and agressive. Lots of traffic and this person is weaving in and out and just about clipped my car. I ended up passing this person again and he was behind me on top of my bumper. (I have no where to go, there's traffic) once again he goes around me and crosses two lanes and almost hits another car...that person gets so pissed and then they start flipping each other off and now we have two mad people going down the freeway.

Today, I thought I should call 911 and report it since these two cars now are out of control and can kill innocent people that are just trying to get to work and take their children to school.

I'm torn because I'm like, do I want to get involved and call the police or do nothing and maybe this idiot kills someone tomorrow.
