i drive a manual transmission car and i find it very difficult when in an uphill road and traffic comes to a halt. When traffic moves and I am about to move forward sometimes my engine turns off and my tendency to move backwards to the car behind is very high. =c i cant seem to get the "technique" when driving in uphill roads using a manual transm. car. any driving tips so I can avoid this from happening? driving with a clutch is EXTREMELY hard. thanks!

in coach seating-what are the pros and cons of upper versus lower? Next question is, they require reservations, but are these trains actually filled up-or can I just show up at the train station and get a ticket-as in, reserve then and there? Or would that adversely effect my fare? My sense is that there would always be room on the trains as train travel in the U.S. isn't what it is in Europe (wish it was, then there'd be lots of trains available!)

I have a '02 Nissan Altima with the check engine light stuck on and have already pulled the code out for low emissions leak. I just need to reset the thing without having to pay someone else an arm and a leg, and a couple of kids to have them take 5 minutes and viola. I know there's got to be an easy way to fix this. Please help!

i own a 1978 chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 pickup truck.i bought it for $1000 in july last year and its a very good truck for being 30 years old.im selling it because i dont have a very good job and its starting to get a little expensive for gas,oil..etc... and i want to get a small car for a while to build my credit.the truck has a good 305 V8 engine and an automatic trans.it has a brand new flywheel, starter, universal joint, and new tires with less than 500 miles on them.the body is in fair condition.there are tiny hardly noticable dents all around and small scratches and two small patches of rust on the very bottom of the doors.the only problem with the truck is that it takes a while in the cold weather to start but it has a choke inside.you have to warm it up for a while cuz it may stall if ur not patient.sometimes when it is about 5-15 degrees in the morning it may not start but the problem can be easily fixed with a heat lamp or something.the bed is in great condition.4x4 works great in snow.

Some people say used car dealers are "rip-off." Some people say buying a car from the owner can be risky...

I'm buying a used car, but I don't know what are smart ways to do so, because people tell me different things!

Dealership? Use newspaper ads? Purchase from the owner directly? All types of suggestions are welcome!!

The factory filter has 1 in tube and 1 out tube. The new filter has 1 in tube and 2 out tubes, but is identical in size to the old filter. I took the new and old filters with me to autozone, and advanced auto. Both stores told me the new filter is the correct one. Could this have been a recall issue or something? We bought the car new and never replaced the filter until now so i know its not something someone rigged together.

I'm stuck between...

- F-150
- V8 Titan
- V8 Tundra

Which is better a V8 or a Hemi. I'm looking for power, prolly in a few years looking to get a boat and a jet ski, and want to be able to pull them.

Just wondered what the last year was that you could order a new Chrysler, Dodge, or Plymouth and have a 8 Track in dash style radio installed?

The last year I remember GM offering this was 1982 or 1983, as my Aunt had a new 1983 Cadillac Deville with a 8 Track AM/FM radio already installed.

So, does anyone know what was the last year Chrysler Corp offered the same thing?

Thanks.
