I am a car enthusist im always around cars, me and my da have a lotus elise that we race,i aot of work on that car soi now how cars run and what the pieces parts do? im willing to spend 25,000 or a little bit more on my car, some cars i have decided on is a mistubishi lanver evo, volvo s60R, or a ferrari 360 modena, lol jking about the ferrari. please tell me some other good cars that are fast, but have a good saftey rating, doesnt break down, good 0 to 60, and good control.

i am asking because it stopped working and the garage i took it to replaced it (or so he says with a second hand one)but that has stopped working well it is intermittent and i am wondering whether he has just cleaned it up and ripped me off.

i know harriers are great fighters and they are able to hover but they only have a speed of 8 to 9 hundred miles per hour so why make a plane that would easily get shot down becasue of its slow speed i mean for example you are a pilot flying a harrier in iraq and then all the sudden an iraq mig-21 gets on your tale and you try to escape but you cant becasue the plane your flying is going up to about 900 mph while the mig is able to hit speeds over 1000 mph

I'm probably going to have my car towed to have it fixed. How much does a tow normally cost that is only about a mile and it is just a chevy cavalier? This a rural area not a large city if that has anything to do with the price.

I have 2 cars, a plain 7 year old vauxhall and a 2 year old beemer, I don't seem to get noticed in my Vauxhall but I seem to attract all sorts of unwanted attention when driving my Beemer, I guess this is because people are jealous ? In my Beemer I'm always getting cut up and people never seem to let me out of junctions, it doesn't really bother me because I just sit back with a smug look on my face knowing that others wish they too could have a lovely car like mine

Have a 1999 Mustang GT 4.6L. I was driving down the express way and felt kind of strange that my car had lost power. Speedometer read 70 but felt like 50 mph. Once I got onto the neighboring streets, I noticed that there was a spudder and the car would shake. First thing i thought, I NEED A TUNE-UP. When i got home and waited about 15 minutes to check the engine ( by the way the CHECK ENGINE SOON light was on) i noticed that there was a smell of burned oil so i looked under the engine and noticed oil leakage around the oil filter. Didn't notice any possible seals broken from the heads or the oil pan, just around the oil filter. So i checked the oil level, found to have only 1/3 of the dipstick marked with oil. I switched out the oil and filter. Did not see any leakage. So then i drove it in the neighborhood. Still getting the spudder. Only this time feels alot worse. I'm now thinking of taking it to the dealer so they can work on it. My question is what else can it be?

I had the calipers replaced it sept. but it sat til now. when i drive it, i have no problems, everything working perfect. but after about fifteen minutes of driving my front tires start to seize up. I just replaced the calipers again for the second time a few days ago, now it seems to be doing the same thing. The temperature that they heat up to is incredible, i already cracked one of the hubcaps from the heat. I have had a lot of problems with my brakes in the past. In the last two years i have replaced the master cylinder, vacuum boaster, drums, pads, shoes, calipers x2. After i cools down it drive fine again for another 20 minutes or so then it seizes up again. Im giving up and taking it to a shop, but everytime i do i seem to get taken for a ride. I would appreciate any comments regarding this topic.

I have a 2005 chevy equinox w/ a CD player. I have a ton of burnt CDs from over the past 6-7 years but they have a hard time playing in my car. They play in my comp. all my stereos, and every other car ive tried them in (98 infiniti, 97 explorer, 02 explorer, 00 accord). They are a variety of brands and while some may be old and scratched even newly burnt ones dont play right. I have to put the CD in and out may times, it usually just says "check disk" and ejects it and other times it says something like " dsp transmittent error". Usually once the CD plays tho that CD will be read as long as I keep it in the player and dont eject it, no matter how many times I turn off and restart my car.
