if you take your vechicle to a ford/mercury/lincoln dealership, thay can retreive it for you (i'm sure for a fee, but maybe if you're lucky free, especially if you bought it from them) thay can get it using their computer scan tool from the module itself

The 1st 2 answers are wrong.
Your 5 digit keyless entry code is actually printed on the module that controls the keyless entry.
It is hard to describe where & how to find the right module.
Especially since I don't KNOW that you actually own the vehicle.
I don't want to tell ya how to gain access to somebody elses vehicle.
For all I know you could be stalking the owner of a 2001 Sable.
If you take it to your local Ford or Mercury dealer servic dept, they can show you how to find it.
BE PREPARRED TO SHOW PROOF THAT U R THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE.

the broker or locksmith pulls the code from the ecu with a test gadget. they stopped putting the codes on the automobile using web pages telling every physique and anybody the place they have been.

Check the trunk hinges .It is also on the module if you can find it..The dealer can hook up the wds and get the code for you takes about 15 min

Your ganna have to go to a Dealer and talk to someone, they will take your vin #, send it in and give you your passcode.
