Good car? Or bad idea? Give me some help here guys. It's a 2002, wagon. In good shape, lots of miles though. Price is OK. A mechanic told me that a Taurus is not a good car. So now I don't know what to do.

I was driving past "Top Gear Garage" on the way to Weymouth and I saw a car for sale outside...

It is a white van, but looks kind-of like a bubble car, very distinctive as it has round windows in the back! It was relativley small, for a van, around the same as a Ford Focus. Also had round headlights and tailights.

Thanks, and if you have pictures give me a link :)

When I fill my gas tank I can only get about 1/2 gal in before the backsplash. This continues as I fill the tank. It started about a month ago at 5 gal. and has worked it's way down to 1/2 gal. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

The reason im asking is cuz the manual says to use only 87 octane, but i blew a piston and trashed the jug on the recoil side of the motor last winter. The mechanic says that is cuz i was using the 87 octane. he says i should be using the 92 octane premium.

OK, I'm looking to buy a 1978 Mustang II that needs a new carburetor. The person selling it said that I would get a carburetor with the car but its for an automatic transmission. The car is standard. What my question is Is there a way to retro-fit the automatic carb on to the engine? I don't understand what the diference between a carb for an auto transmission and standard transmission and why they're different.

i don't exactly own a gas guzzler but it guzzles more than i like. i would like to buy a car that is economical but has to have a bit of an estate bit as i have a dog. which make of car offers the best fuel economy/greener - i know driving full stop is bad for the environment so no comments on that please!

I understand that my performance will be slightly better with the higher octane, but if I am looking to save a few dollars, can I use the regular or midgrade in my 2004 TSX?
