having a ported box can give you a 3db gain (which can be like adding a second sub). This is because you are adding another air chamber (your car) for your sub. A sealed enclosure is good for rock since air pressure can build up behind the sub in the box and give you more accuracy and a tighter bass sound.

You're likely to get better sound quality by using a sealed box. However, using a properly tuned ported box should allow you to get louder output and more low-end response.

Use a Ported Box and let the car act as a bass bin!

Well...seeing as you have 2 subs you don't need the gain of the port when it is tuned properly. Just seal it, and save the space.

I would go with a sealed box - Recommended Volume (Cubic Feet) - .85
If you use a ported box - Recommended Volume (Cubic feet) - 1.25

sealed is much better, you get a hard thump from your woofers due to compressed air.
