The plugs should be good for 100,000 miles.

The gap is 0.039 to 0.041 inch. Any plug that has a out-of-spec. gap should be replaced and not regapped. (Don't ask me why -- I am just going by the Service Manual). They apparently come pre-gapped.

Plug Numbers:

NGK is IZFR6K11 (apparently OEM)
DENSO is SKJ20DR-M11
Q.E.D.

Regarding the gap, here is what the Service Manual states on P. 4-21,, "Do not adjust the gap of iridium tip plugs; replace the spark plug if the gap is out of specification".

Iridium plugs are the stock plugs for the TSX but you don't need them. Any stock honda plugs are fine, iridium costs 6x than reg plugs for not much more of a difference.

Be sure to use a small amount of anti-seize. I prefer the silver material over the brown and torque them down at about 13 ft lbs.

Hope that helps.

Acura says at 105k miles I believe, In our shop we usually like to change them at 60k miles. Buy NGK plugs and they are generally gapped correctly. It is fairly easy to change the plugs on the TSX because they are right on top of the engine under the coil packs

TSX plugs should last 100,000 miles. Read your owners manual for the correct time to replace them.
