After a new thermostat and a new heater core in my 94' Z-71 my temperature gauge is still "under" where it should be. Also, I have no heat inside my truck when I turn on my heater full blast. Please help.

I know i just asked a similar question, but in retrospect I felt the grammar didn't convey what I really ment.

What i mean is... which is more likely to kill someone? driving too fast, or driving badly?

I plan to use plywood for the sides and for a template for the shape I would use masonite or hardboard. Also I will use ribs on the inside and incorporate seats into the ribs or visa versa.I would use epoxy for a finish and then sand with aluminum oxide sandpaper. Then i would finish with a few coats of marine paint or at least an oil base paint.Any ideas would be appreciated, especially about the screws.

why cant we have fast lanes in the uk like the californians do in america. its called carpool. in rush hour they have fast lanes for cars with two or more passengers travelling in one car. this is a good idea as most drivers are travelling alone. (1 person per car)
this would work well here in the uk.

ps, plus its saving the environment .
what da ya think

Please, I dont want no crappy answers about speed and bad driving going hand in hand...

I'll answer that answer for you, most people (myself included) when driving fast concentrate even HARDER on the road than if you was cruising at 50

I've driven at speeds on the motorway which shall we say greatly exceed the speed limit, but I've never felt I've been driving dangerously or putting other people at risk because my concentration increases with that speed.

Thanks to the guy from a previous q i asked for this, he started the ball rolling.

In simplest terms (I'm a big sissy girl!) my car seems to be making a chugging noise, a bit like a tractor but not very loud, when stopped in neutral. I've heard a noise like this before but a lot louder when my spark plugs went (and the bit they went to but sorry I can't remember the name of it...), and wasn't sure if it was this. The revs seem to be fluctuating slightly just under the 1000x mark when the car is still... The car struggles for less than a couple of seconds when starting but goes fine, possibly a slight struggle pulling away in first but other than that feels ok. Any ideas what is wrong with it?

I own a 99 Chev C/K 1500 Extended Cab(old style) with a 305 motor. I read that there is a product that can be added to the fuel tank of these vehicles that will flush out un wanted deposits on the fuel pump and sender unit.

I would like to find out the name of the product, the location that it can be purchased and any information regarding the proper use of it.

Was on the motorway about 2 weeks ago, the police car was doing smack on 70mph. I moved to overtake but a car in front of me wouldn't get out of the fast lane... I wouldn't undertake with a police car next to me, but eventually the car pulled into the middle lane which i promptly passed. To my horror I saw the police lights go on and thought i was in trouble... but to my surprise (at common sence being shown by a police man) he pulled the driver who wouldn't move out of my way.

This IS a fact, speed limits were 1st introduced nationally during the north sea oil crisis (put to the media as a way of making safer driving).

However on the motorway at night, surely a 100mph speed limit between 12pm-5pm is reasonable with the greatly reduced traffic.

I installed a new brake light switch because the old one was not woking. When I removed the old switch the contact plate was popped out of its pivot point. I installed the new one, and the lights worked until I pressed the brakes hard( almost to the floor). I removed the new switdh to find the same problem as the old one had which I had just removed. The pedal assembly has minimal play in it but I don't think it is enough to cause this failure.

Hey, I bought a 1981 Virago 750 with straight pipes. I personally would have liked to have a muffler but the price was too good to let go. I know they are illegal, will I get in trouble in Upstate NY? I don't live in the city, but I will be riding through some towns. Also, can I get the bike inspectied with straight pipes?

My mom has a 96' cherokee that has a strange problem, it dies going down the road at times while it is running and at times will not start back up. Crankcase TDC sensor has been replaced fuel filters and coil. Nothing has assisted...it will just mysteriously die in the middle of the road and then usually it will start back... and run fine.

They hike up our premiums cos when they pass they all think their Ayrton Senna (and often end up like he did).

Would a more appropriate age for even maybe male drivers be increased to 20 or 21?

I replaced my alternator and replaced the corroded battery terminals, it still only shows 11-12 volts on my voltmeter on the instrument panel - I am assuming this means the jeep is only running on the battery - I guess on accessory, the volt meter says 10-12 as well - so if the alternator kicks in, the volts should go up to 14-14.5 right? I am just trying to rule out that its a low voltage battery -
