I have BMW Z4 and it's equip with a RUN FLAT TIRE. Any success in getting it repair rather than buying a new tire?

I researched online and called the local shops here; there's no repair for it. There's even a warning on the sidewall saying u should not inflate the tire and it should be replaced! This is ridiculous!

The problem with repairing a run-flat tires is that it is now a damaged tire. run-flats are design to do just that "run-flat" this will allow you to limp to a tire shop and get a replacement. There is also added safety to having a run-flat so you have less chance of loosing control when you get a flat on the freeway. Yes, it does suck that you can't repair the tire but I know it saved me $ in the long run after getting a flat at 75mph. Just bite the bullet and replace the tire (mabye two if the opposite one has little tread). Sorry for the bad news, and good luck.

If you buy a car with run flat tires,,,you probably believe in climate change,,,have married your ex-wife 5 times or more,, or,, you believe the U.N. is a humanitarian organization. In any case,,,I wish you well during your stay at the insane asylum.

Hi there....

There are many independent tire stores and service shops that will help you look for what's causing the leak and fix it. If it's a leaky valve or a hole in the tread, they can either replace the valve or plug the leak. Depending on how big the hole is or if there's a tear or something, you may have to end up replacing it.

Hope this helps!

i guess you answered you own question. fun-flats are not meant to be repaired. they're one-time-use only. it sucks how manufacturers are slapping them on their cars as standard equipment now. it's a conspiracy i tell u.
