this is a story that I know to be true because I worked in the engine room of a navy ship. We were taught in school and our work practice that oil never wears out, it loses its lubricating ability because of contamination, remove the contamination and the oil is as good as new. While I was on this ship for 4 years we sailed I would guess enough to go around the world maby 3 or 4 times. when I was discharged the same oil was still in the engine and it was there when I first went aboard, the reason is there was (no oil filter) but there was an ( oil purifier ) constantly cleaning the oil. Think this is something new the ship was built in 1943.

I don't need an oil change. A vehicles internal combusion engine needs one to keep contaminants out and oil with proper lubricating qualities in the oil pan. It extends the life of the engine.

I have my friend that works in car repair and he told me that car oil is not needed to be changed because it cant be damaged yet, they change it for having a better engine life .

And sometimes companies change ur engine oil though it aint needed yet to be changed, they do it for better profitability ... and the oil would be still good but you dont have experiance with it .

The viscosity and lubricating properties break down due to heat ,moisture, small amounts of fuel that escapes by the ring.
Also oils purpose is to clean as well as lubricate the engine...over time contaminates like metal, carbon, and various other contaminates build up in the oil and oil pan....These contaminates over time will deposit as sludge in your engine.
Keeping clean oil in your engine, keeps your engine clean.

Oil gets very dirty in time and will slowly or quickly eat up your bearings depending on how dirty it is.Your oil filter is only around 30 micron in order to keep a good volume of oil moving. If the filter was any finer you would probably starve critical components of lubrication.

If your car burns oil and you need to add a quart from time to time, it may be tempting not to change it... BAD idea. Have you seen the "sludge" commercials on TV? They're not just trying to sell oil, it really happens.
