have a 2005 Nissan Altama S 2.5 and i have the stock audio system in it, yesterday the audio stopped working when a family member was driving it. when they came home i checked out turning the car off and on and there was no thump or anything else that could tell if the speakers shorted, and then i checked the fuse panel inside and it said that the audio and mirrors are on the same fuse, so i checked the mirrors and they worked. i could not really check the fuse because it was dark outside, any help would be great. it is saying the radio is on it goes to diff. radio stations, and shows the cd is playing but no sound, some people are telling me to check the fuse under the hood. would this be coverd by nissan it is a lease car
and please tell me what i can do.

I've just put a JVC radio in my Rover 200. The radio has a 'OE steering control connector' which is a jack socket. The car has a connector with 4 wires the went to the old radio. 2 of these are for the steering controls adn I understand it's just a case of differing resistances appearing across these lines dependant on which button is pressed.

The proper leads to get the car talking to the radio are around £35! Is there an easier (cheaper!) way? I'm happy to cut wires or build a circuit if necessary.

What is it the radio is expecting to see by way of input on the steering control socket?

Thanks!

Am i right in thinking double clucthing is using the clutch to disengage gearing to neutral, coming off the clutch and then depressing it again to engage the gear so that you can apply the power quicker?

I have recently brought my car to an auto shop for repair. I am afraid they have changed something in my car, like swithed some parts with some old stuffs. My car is 2004 camry, was bought brand new. So how do I check if the parts currently on my car are actually the original parts that came with the car when it first was bought? I see there are serial # on every part, but how do i check that the number is the same number as before, as now i don't have any record of what it was before. So how can i find out what serial numbers are actually belong to my car?

so many questions, so hope you guys be patient and help me out :)
thanks
Andy

They sell it in Colombia and other South American Countries. Trucks and buses can run on it. Its not diesel or gas. It is cheaper than diesel or gas. It seems to burn very dirty.

This is very annoying indeed , especially with these new type high brake lamps. If the traffic lights have just turned to red , why don't they use their handbrake and be ready, in gear, to drive off. Surely it must be easier?

I am looking for a newer(approx 2003) BMW. I have never had one and I don't know anyone that has one. I don't know the difference between models. I understand sedan, coupe, and convertable differences. I am also starting to understand the x or no x differences(all wheel drive or not). I would also like to know if there is anything I should be know as a first time buyer of BMW. Thanks.

It's a 2000 Honda Elite SR, and it gets about 50-60 mpg, but many (or most) mopeds get 80-90. I can't figure it out. Also, how much does your moped get?
