i need a wiring diagram to if there are any wires to detach from the gas tank?

the pump is in the tank, are you sure it's the pump and not the safety cut-off? :)

The fuel tank must come down from the car, and the fuel line connectors disconnected with the proper tool (available at the parts store), the wiring diagram is unnecessary as it is merely a plug.
Set the tank on a stable surface (the ground) and extinguish ALL flammable materials. Carefully remove the retainer ring at the pump/sender unit (do NOT generate ANY sparks here) and remove the pump/sender module. Replace in reverse order.
A little heads up: be certain to clean the retainer and seal channel of debris and dirt, and use a NEW seal. Using the old seal will result in a leak, and an unacceptable fuel leak and gasoline odor in the car.

The wires for the pump should not need to be replaced. They are in a wire-harness that clips into place.
If this is a 3.8 six cylinder engine you might be better off junking the car. It will continue to eat up money every few months. There is a good reason Ford stopped that production of that engine; it is junk and comes apart at the seams. Your next problem will be an oil pan, then starter, then water pump or alternator.
The car will soon be a money pit for you. Get rid of it.

i agree with the ase tech, and add to make sure the fuel tank is near to empty or you will have fuel all over the place

Take it to a garage. You will get off just as cheap.
