I agree with the poster on www.tirerack.com. That's how I decided on the tires I have.
It all depends on what kind of vehicle you have and what you need your tires for.
For off road use, Michelin tires suck. I have Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo tires and they are great both on road and off road.

Michelin has been out a long time. I never had no problem. Bridgestone seems just as nice as Michelin and seemed less expensive when I had them no problems either.

For truck use the Michelin tires have consistently outperformed all other tires.

i dont know about truck tyres but i have used both on my vauxhall vx220 and found michelin grip ther track better and last allot longer. dont know if this helps but hope it does.

for safety and durability go with michelin,many other brands are also very good

Firestone/Bridgestone. They are less expensive and won't give you any problems.
