Have a 1995 V6 model of the Mazda 626.

Lately it has been using alot of oil .. around 4 litres per 1000km's and its very black. It took the top off the radiator the other day and there is oil in the water.

Can someone give me an idea of what this problems may be, either being a cracked head or blown gasket.

The car is serviced every 10,000 kms and oil changed at 5,000 kms.

Thanks

My cars breaks are all sorts of messed up. I took it to a mechanic, he though the problem might be something with the master cylinder or something like that, but he said that on closer inspection it is a problem with the antilock break system.

Basicly what happens is that when you push down on the break it gives a little bit of resistance (like it should) and it slows the car down. After a few seconds the break peddle does not give any resistance and the car is no longer breaking. This happens till you get to the bottom, and then it will break with out fail (I do not know if i am going to say this right, but at that point the breaks are very sensitive, and they almost seem to work as if they are either loose or locked)

I was wondering if it would work if i could just disable the antilock breaks, and if so how would i go about doing that.

[if this question is not clear, then please ask for more explination and i will add as much as i can]

The BBB is making General Motors trade my 2006 Pontiac G6 because it is a lemon. I ordered my car at my local dealership, Heritage Pontiac in Terrell, Texas. My car was to cost under 25000.00 but as time goes on the dealer informs me that he is raising the price to almost 28,000.00. He apparently can do this because he never put in writing what the cost was to be. I now drive a Dodge! Never ever trust a dealer who only runs his mouth and not his pen!!! Please learn from my mistake.

I have a 2003 Astra, i recently got the brakes replaced, new discs and pads....However a really bad squeal has developed, I have returned it to the garage who inspected it and said there was nothing wrong with them so they applied more copper grease to the back of the pads thinking this would cure the squeal.

However its 2 days later and the squeal is back as bad as ever and its driving me nuts!!!

Has anyone any suggestions?

Thanks!!
