my car door only will open from the inside, but not the outside. any ideas as to what exactly the problem is and if so? how easy/ how much would it cost to fix it. could it be that some is just loose or does a part need to be replaced?

Engine has been tuned, tires properly inflated, just had oil change, no jackrabbit starts, use a/c as little as possible. I'm getting almost 10 mpg less than others, and I've done the correct math: 244 miles, 12.3 gallons - topped off both times and reset tripmeter to zero. Any ideas? Air filter at most probably can account for one to two mpg right?

I lost my driving permit, the one you get by taking a written exam and you aren't 18 yet. I didn't lose it as in getting it taken away by cops but just misplaced it or dropped it while going places. I also had my white slip (proof u are enrolled in drivers training) pink slip (proof I passed drivers education) and orange/yellow slip (finished my 6 hours of driving with intructor). Will I need the pink and white slip back to take the drivers test? And will I have to wait another 6 months before being able to take Behind the wheel test or will it be from my original date? I read or heard you just go to DMV and pay a fine and they give you a new one which I hope that is true. Please tell me what you know, thank you very much... Much appreciated ^^

What was the first car (and by car I mean any vehicle - car, truck, etc.) manufactured that had electronic computer(s) in it. In other words, what car was the first to not be 100 percent mechanical?
Also, when I ask "what", I refer to the model of car, the year of car, the manufacturer of car, and the country of car manufacture or invention.
In addidion, I would really be pleased if somebody knows why cars became "electronic-ified", and what positives they were intented to bring forth.

Hey all! I've got a 1996 Cavalier with 150K miles on it. It's not getting the best mileage it could . . . I've heard of similar cars getting 30 MPG or so, and I'm getting closer to 22-25 MPG.

Do you think I can get my mileage back up there, or do you just lose alot as your engine ages?

I replaced the spark plugs (which were gapped very poorly from the previous owner) and front oxygen sensor, so this should help some. What else can I do to get my mileage back up where it should be?

Is a lot better to get a 2001.5 s4 vs a 2001? I heard the turbos are different and maybe more reliable?

I don't know much about audis and turbos, been a BMW guy most of my life.

ok so i change my oil the other day and i over tide the oil drain plug now my bike leeks oil what should i do? the oil drain plug threds are still ok like new so i know the oil pans threds are no good ,,what should i do replace the hole oil pan like new because i know it going to be a big pan in the butt
