Wait at least another year, and see what Kawi does with the 14. There's almost sure to be some adjustments made.
Consider the fact that you'll perhaps have a bike payment to make, and maybe the busa is paid off.
IMHO, the busa is a much better looking bike.

In all relialtly the 14 isn't that much of a better bike, despite being 7 years newer (the Busa hasn't been upgraded since it's inception in 1999). The Kawi has some new trick features, such as it's on-board computer that has average MPG, miles you can go on remaining fuel, and a gear position display, and it's suspension is slightly better (only slightly), but other than that it isn't a "vastly improved" Busa.
Of course the extra nearly 100cc makes a difference, and the 14 has more torque than the Busa, but ironically it's aerodynamics are worse, which gives it a lower top speed if the governors are removed on both bikes. It's mainly a comfort thing- the Busa is a bit cramped for me, with the curves in the tank, my knees are too high to tuck on it, but the 14 fits me better.

If you like your busa then keep it...their performance differences are so minor that in most any situation the better rider will win regardless of the bike.

stay with it. It's a good bike, and you won't have a new bike payment to deal with. The new Kawasaki is a good bike Also and you wouldn't be disappointed with it unless the riding position is different and proves to be uncomfortable for long rides.

If you love it why get rid of it?
I hear it's an awesome bike.
Hell my favorite is still my 1975 Norton 850.
It's all pretty much subjective. You like what you like, nothing else really matters does it?

I am the small voice in your head that says
"Have both... own one of each."
The only thing stopping me from a collection is my wife!
If it were up to me, the garage would look like a mini showroom.
