I lost my driving permit, the one you get by taking a written exam and you aren't 18 yet. I didn't lose it as in getting it taken away by cops but just misplaced it or dropped it while going places. I also had my white slip (proof u are enrolled in drivers training) pink slip (proof I passed drivers education) and orange/yellow slip (finished my 6 hours of driving with intructor). Will I need the pink and white slip back to take the drivers test? And will I have to wait another 6 months before being able to take Behind the wheel test or will it be from my original date? I read or heard you just go to DMV and pay a fine and they give you a new one which I hope that is true. Please tell me what you know, thank you very much... Much appreciated ^^

Go to your local DMV and get a duplicate. They have your information in their system.

The DMV should have your records on file in their computers. I know around here ( Boston area) it costs 15 dollars to get a replacement. But it's definitely worth it- you'll need it to get your liscense. They'll print you out a new one. good luck! be careful next time :)

bypass on line on your State DMV and check out the standards for a lost enable. it provides you with information on a thank you to declare a clean one with the right identity's so which you do no longer waste it sluggish and could bypass back. try finding everywhere you have been and you may locate it!!! sturdy success!!!

This is me on an alternate address, someone said that I would need to take the test again... can someone confirm if it's as easy as pay and pick up... or would I have to take the test again.

go to the dmv and get a replacement. make sure you take proper id because you will need it.

you go to the DMV and tell them that you lost it and they will give you the test again and all you ahve to do is pay for another permit!
