This is the question that I had posted before ~~~~I have a 94 chevy lumina that cuts out or stalls after warming up. We've changed the fule filter and used gas treatment too. Hello, I own a 98 Crown Victoria. I just bought Megs tips dimensions being:
- Exhaust tube connection I.D. 2.25"
- Main tube O.D. 3.50"
- Overall length 26"

I also want to purchase flowmasters but I am confused about the diameter offset inlet and center outlet sizes. I am guessing I need 2.25" IN / OUT is that correct?

Hey thanks for the advice on the previos question I went to a midas and I got my impala checked out they said there was a misfire in the number 5 solenoid and I explained how it was looseing power and lagging. They checked out my catalyic converter and said it is going out.My question is what could cause it to go out, I am not able to replace it til monday and will get a second opinion but I don't want to replace the catalyic convertor and have it go out again in a few months. what other components and sensors should I get checked out before I decide to replace the converotor what sensors could be going out and/or what parts might need to get looked at. Anyadvice will help I am going to go back to midas on monday to get it looked at again and I will need to know exactly what I need to get checked out. Thanks again you guys really helped with the last question I had.

I took my '98 Oldsmobile Cutlass to the mechanic today. He said that the "Output Shaft Bearing in the transmission is bad" and is causing other problems in the car. He couldn't give me an estimate on how much repairs would cost because he doesn't work on transmission problems. Can someone give me an idea of how much this is going to cost? At this point, I'm terrified because we've had this car LESS than a year and we've spent over $1000 on repairs (it's been in the shop 4 times). Someone please give me some hope!!! Also, he said that the "Center pivot in the wiper transmission system is broken"...any idea on how much that'll cost?! I'm a clueless woman when it comes to cars and I don't have a lot of money to invest either...any advice?

i just replaced the altinator twice and the battery twice and its still dying after running for maybe an hour. first the lights go dem and then the charge light comes on and then it dies and wont start until i get jumped and then it will run for like 5-10 min without dying again! what can it be??

I can't stand it when people tell me the truck I drive is a piece of junk. It is NOT. It's older, but it's tough and I've never had more of a problem than a couple of tie rods. Big whopping deal, inn a truck that easily qualifies as a classic. My newer truck is of the same make (i won't include make until i get some answers) and it's been great as well. It actually gets good gas mileage, even with a turbo diesel engine. anyway, answer and i'll reveal the make.

My 97 Camaro was showing a P300 code(multi-misfire).I replaced plugs,wires,fuel filter and it still has a miss at low rpm's.Could it be the optispark now?Any other ideas before I blow more $ for nothing?It's a Z28,automatic trans.
