My 97 Camaro was showing a P300 code(multi-misfire).I replaced plugs,wires,fuel filter and it still has a miss at low rpm's.Could it be the optispark now?Any other ideas before I blow more $ for nothing?It's a Z28,automatic trans.

rescan it see if its the same codes..if not maybe check the mass air flow sensor..try cleaning it with a throttle body cleaner..could save some money

More than likely it's going to be a vacuum leak. The reason I say that is because vacuum is at the greatest at low RPM's and so once you start accellerating and vacuum drops, it stops misfiring.

My son said to check the distributor cap, the distributor itself or the timing . Good luck

Sounds like the cap and rotor need to be checked. Spray it with water and raise the rpms to try and get it to miss.

4 basic requirements for an internal combustion engine, spark, fuel, compression, and timing

the lack of any one of these in any cylinder is going to give you the same reading

find a reputable mechanic to diagnose your problem

change you distributor cap and check your coil packs you may not be getting spark from all your coil packs
