does anyone have any advice on how to fix the gear shifter, i know its not my gear box because i had that recently replaced, so it must be somewhere in the shifter system and i dont know where to look or if i can fix it?

I took my van in for repairs on the windshield wipers and brakes. The wipers don;t work at all still and the brakes are making a funny noise now. If I take it back again to be done right should I have to pay for labour again? Is there a law backing me up?

to bikerwwokiejim: There has to be a simple system, eg bikes can be equipped with transmitters (eg, ultra sound, radar, ) and cars with doppler shift recieving devices which emit an audible warning as bikes approach. OR car emit a signal which is bounced back by a transponder on the bike.
I'm just looking for an engineer who would develop the product with possible government funding! Serious project.

I have a 2005 Pontiac Vibe. I drive it about 80 miles round trip 2-3 times per week. After each trip, I have pain in my mid-lower back.

I have explored new vehicles with lumbar support, but I'm not sure if that will really solve the issue.

Any suggestions on relieving back pain associated with an extended period of driving?
