The mid to late 60s were great years for cars but you also have to realize people tend to look back though a nostalgic haze and forget there were problems with those cars too.
The horrible cars of the early 70s reinforces how good the 60s were in our memories.

A 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda that I used to have and wish I had never gotten rid of. And yes that was a good time for cars, back when horsepower was king and gas was under a dollar a gallon. Boo Hoo.

My dream car was any car that my boyfriend was driving! At that time, I think that it was a black 57 Chevy!

those were great years before the govt. started putting restrictions on horsepower. and the oil shortage killed the market for such cars. i like the new vettes myself.
