Hyundai has successfully beaten honda in reliability and quality for the past two years and have there guns on Toyota next!

Who here believes Hyundai will surpass Toyota?
Here are some Hyundai victories

Hyundai is also beating Toyota in driver satsifaction too.

So I think it will be a matter of time before this Korean juggernaut surpasses Toyota in reliability they just have one more step then Toyota is done.

Those Koreans are really starting to mess up the Japanese perception that only Japanese can make reliable
cars.Same with Samsung and Sony!!!!!!!!!!!


I wonder how long it will take for Hyundai to have a good consumer perception after all they having been making garbage until year 2002!!!

I am a claims adjuster, and I see this constantly. usually the car is a 199? POS Beater ed, but it has 20" chrome alloy wheels and stereo system that belongs at the IMAX theator.

so either it is not covered or I total the vehicle for the Actual cash value ( yeah car minus the stereo)

Unfortunately the Bible that is the knowledge of Haynes manuals doesnt seem to supply valve clearance for this year which I find puzzling. The engine ticks over with a distinctive tapping noise and so the tappits and injectors are suspect, although my knowledge of injectors is minimal. Any specific and genuine answers would be greatly recieved. Thanks.

Can anyone suggest any really good engines that will fit the frame? Its a shaft drive.. This is my 4th engine and I'm fed up of rebuilding them due to bad oil issues.. and I'm not really up for the oil mod job.. so if anyone at west coast or anything is listening.. your advice would be welcomed greatly! 2002 Malibu SE - its in great condition except for one very small scratch on the back bumper, and it has very high mileage. 108k. It used to be a temp car for a car dealership, and they took very good care of it, just got a lot of road time.
KBB, and autotrader have some pretty varied prices 3.5k - almost 10k.

What would YOU buy it for?
