NO no NO!!! The insurance doesn't even ask you what color your car is. They ask you year, make model, mileage to and from your primary destination (work) and VIN and past driving history as well as age. Yes, red cars do get more tickets because it's a very distinctable blur when they speed by a cop, but it has nothing to do with your car insurance, that is unless of course, you get pulled over all the time for being in a red car while you were speeding and THEN the adverse effect is getting a premium increase.

No. There is was a study done years ago showing that red cars tend to be in more accidents that cars of other colors but this was not related directly to the color. Rather it was that people who buy red cars often tend to be more outgoing, drive faster, often red cars are sports type cars. To my knowledge no one charges based on the color of cars and I work for one of the largest insurance companies in the country.

Yes. The more popular the color of the car, the more expensive it is, because that color of a certain car is in an accident more than another color of that car. Also, some colors are more dangerous than other colors.

Asked and answered multiple times. No. No insurance company asks the color of your vehicle on the policy. It's urban myth that red cars have higher premiums.

No. It depends on the driver, passengers, average mileage driven, location, age, and accident/ticket history.

Make and model have a small factor, but I've never heard of color being an issue.

Yes, color matters. Statistically speaking, red cars get more speeding tickets. Blue cars get the least.

The color red doesnt actually effect ur auto ins. directly but it is the best selling color and it does draw attention sometimes unwanted (ie: cops) and of course tickets do raise ur ins payments. : )

NO!!!!!!
I've never had one ask for the color of the car.
They don't even care about the plate number.
Just the vin and owner/driver info.
