I heard there is a new law here that says you can't get your license now until your 17 but, can still get your permit at 15, can you get your intermiates license 6 months after? Because when I turn 16 I really want to get a job so I can start saving up.

..what's going to happen on the day of my funeral? Will my death cause the streets and such to become congested? Should I try to prolong my life in the hopes that a better transportation system will be installed before I pass away?

Here is my stats.
I'm only 21, I'm a full-time student and a part time worker averaging 21-30 hours a week. I have only 2 credit cards that are no were near being maxed out. Is getting a car loan a stupid idea, or should I go for it.

This is actually a boat engine, but I seem to have better luck with engine problems in the car/truck arena.

This is a 1988 carburated 460. When idling cold and cruising at 75% throttle, the engine runs perfectly.

When I cut the throttle back, the engine often dies. If it does stay running, it surges badly and dies within a minute. Restarting after this is difficult and the only way to keep it running is to apply a lot of throttle. As soon as I put it in gear, it dies unless I immediately give it a lot of throttle. Once going, it runs perfectly and has normal power.

I suspect that I have a leaking float and it is flooding, but I don't know how to check.

My good friend has to buy a car asap. He does not have very good credit due to past family problems. He has just graduated college a month ago and started a new full-time job so he now has a steady income flow. Due to these circumstances, he has asked me to co-sign. Then after a year he will re-finance his car and put it in his name only. Is this a bad idea?

How come there are only some cars (mainly from the late 70's-late 80's) can only go up to 80-85mph and today's cars can go up to 120-150mph?

There is a related question on Y! Answers about the average life of an aircraft. Why does it depend more on pressurization cycles and no so much on age in years?

Should I "accidentally" split open bags of frozen vegetables as I go across the crosswalks, and actually stop to pick up each and every little vegetable to hold up traffic?

Is this a good form of non-violent protest against motorists who don't stop for pedestrians in crosswalks? Or would it technically get violent after an irrate motorist actually decides to run me over to protest my protest?

It seems that most get their cars serviced during the summer months, is this true? I thought that a car required maintenance any time of the year, yet people dont seem to do it much during the winter months,Whats the difference? I'm sure it gets a little financially rough on the mechanics and technicians during the winter months. Any thoughts?

Is the most appropriate gesture to bend at the waist, point at your rear, and then point the other hand at the offending motorist?

Depending on which country you're in, it may be best to just flip them off, extend the two first fingers or thumb, tap your temple, etc., but I want something universal.

If someone ever tries to run me over, I just want to make it clear what I think of them, and I am thinking that my first gesture listed above is quite universal.
