It is like business, if you are "Under-Capitalized you will go broke quickly.
Therefore:
Not Capitalizing the 'caps lock' must prevent it from being broke.
And avoids loss of 'Capital' due to repairs.

Well..."I made me laugh." LOL

Well, I actually had to look at the keyboard to figure that out...I like out of the blue, original questions. I suppose it would have to do with proper grammar, and maybe with the fact that the other keys are started with a capital letter then proceeded with lowercase letters. It would make more sense for all of the letters on it to be capitalized, though, because some people might get what it means ( some people don't get that it is supposed to mean that you are yelling or talking in a loud voice when typing ).

It depends on the keyboard

I have a Digital Lighted Flexible keyboard. When my Caps Lock is on it the button lights up "CAPS LOCK" and the letters on all the keys become caps. When the Caps Lock is off the Caps Lock button reads "Caps Lock" and all the rest of the keys light up in lower case.

Then again it is a $350 keyboard.

Proper Grammer

That would look incredibly obnoxious and the grammar wouldn't be proper either.
