There's a car in front of you and you're both driving in the left hand lane. The speed limit is 55 mph. The car in front of you is driving 45 mph. Off to your right, there's a car keeping pace with you. Basically you're boxed in. This goes on for a good 10 mins. What is your typical reaction to this situation?

a. Grit your teeth and wait it out? (Hopefully this person will get the hint?)

b. Ride the other car's tail? (Probably not the smartest thing to do especially if there's a sudden stop.)

c. Flash your brights on this person and hope to provoke some type of response? (Probably not a good idea since this person might be packin' a lil sumthin' sumthin' in the glove compartment.)

d. Use the median as your only means of escape? (Totally illegal but I've seen people do it. Trust me, this thought has entered my mind on many occassions.)

Been nearly 20 years since I last worked on a carb, it only has about 20k on it, running rough and mileage is way down. Can someone give some good reference sources to help me adjust a 4 bbl carb on an 87 Jeep Grand Wagoneer? It's an Edelbrock carb and intake on a 360 motor, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Its amazing how much you can forget in a short space of time, its also a good idea to keep road awareness an priority, after all roads and signs change, along with the laziness habits we pick up of not signalling, not chekcing our mirrors and the general thinking it ok to sit in-between two lanes. Ive seen it all, and i dont drive.

Are new drivers in mainland UK restricted to a certain speed limit for a certain length of time when they pass their driving test? If so, are they required to display a badge/plate on their vehicle?

I have this old '86 Cadillac that I want to sell. I would like to know if anyone out there can tell me of a good junkyard that would buy my car at a decent price. The car runs good and the body is good. I bought it for $900. It has a good paint job. Good not great. If anyone can tell me of one out there that would be willing to pay for an old car let me know. I dwell in the San Fernando Valley. Do the U Pick Parts buy old cars?

My son-in-law is 41 years old. He lost his license 3 years ago for DUI and has now stopped drinking. He is required to take a written test to get back his license, and a driver's test. There is no problem with the driver's test, but he has taken the written test which is computerized, at least 5 times and has failed. He is not good with computers. Is there any help available to him? He really needs his license as he has a good job and a good life now. Any advice would be appreciated. I'm afraid he'll give up and it's not good for his self esteem.

The high mounted stop light works, the tail lights work and the turn signals work so it's not a bulb or fuse problem. Some other sites indicated this requires a turn signal switch replacement. Something costly to do. I'm hoping it's something like a brake switch contact problem. Any ideas out there?
