I have a 1989 pontiac GTA with a screwed up radio. How do I fix it? It won't even unlock by pressing the mute button and holding it, I love my bond-o primer baby and I want her to sing with that engine.

To unlock a GM "LOC" Radio
1. Push radio button 2&3 it will give you a 3 digit code
2. Push AM/FM it will give you a 3 digit code
3. Call 1-800-537-5140 enter 215573 then hit * key on phone
4. Then enter the two 3 digit codes
5. It will tell you the 4 digit code to unlock the radio
6. Push HRS on the radio and put in the first two numbers of the code.
7. Then push MIN and put in the other two numbers
8. Then push AM/FM.
That is it your radio will be unlocked

Get a new radio is all that I can think of...or go to a sound shop or ausio shop and get them to look at it.
